October Festivities

The first weekend in October was Mark's mission reunion. It was being held in Provo the same Friday night that Utah State was playing BYU in Provo. We thought we would run into some traffic closer to Provo but we were wrong from the beginning. It took us fifteen minutes just to get from the light right outside Sardine Canyon to the freeway. All in all we spent a good 4 hours in the car. We arrived just before 8 when the reunion was supposed to end. Luckily it didn't and we actually did not end up heading home until about 11 or 11:30. I was hoping we would be out of there before the football game ended. But with our luck that day, we left at the same time as everyone else. However we were not caught in traffic too long and made it home by 1:30. Even though it took us forever, and we have decided we will probably not go back to Provo for a long time, it was very good to meet Mark's amazing Mission President and his wife, as well as meet the guys Mark served with. On Hallow's Eve we attended the Utah State Men's Basketball game with our friends Dallin and Sarah. After the game we all went back to our place to carve pumpkins and enjoy hot chocolate.

And finally, on Halloween night we went to a murder mystery party at our friend's house. We ate vegetable beef stew with bread bowls for dinnner. Then Katie brought out a massive amount of delicious treats to snack on. I'll load a picture of the cute spider oreos she made. We had such a great time and neither of us were the killer this time.
